Is it homosexually itself that people hate, or just the indivuals personality. I mean alot of homophobic people know that this guy is gay, but seems okay with it, because they still hang around him.(g0y jock type of gay guy) But theres another guy and they hate his guts( queen type). I think its because of his personality, and of him being the queen type of gay.

I think in general people admire stronger types of any gender. I also think people often wrongly believe that all weak behaviors are "feminine".
I wonder if there's not some subconscious disdain for the weak in general ore sort degree of misogyny involved.
Example: People more often show disgust at a sissy man than a tough or butch woman. Is there some misogyny here?
The weaker behaviors (like being squealy or whiny or very talkative or too emotional) are falsely considered by mainstream society as "feminine".
I also think that as the sissy boys grow up, they are repeatedly and painfully avoided by male friends, but accepted more by the girls, so they pick up the lingo and manners.

Did you ever see the comedy show "Straight eye for the gay guy" that was a takeoff of "Queer eye for th str8...." The hair and makeup dude opened the gay's medicine cabinet, raked everything into the trash and said, "You've got way too much product.
Here, here's some soap......." It was funny.

LOL DEATH. Good answer.

In most cases people have probably judged the situation about being around the queen type guy as undesirable. If a straight person hangs out with a person who is a flamer and everyone can see this they are afraid to be considered gay also. Their fear: guilt by association.

Anyone could hang out with the jock type and no one would think anything about those people.

In the end these people aren't anyone I would want to associate with. They are too superficial.

There's a difference btwn not liking someone personally or deciding to hate an entire group of people.

If you're asking why do straight men seem okay with 'straight acting' gays, it's probably because they don't know the guy is gay in the first place. And after the straight guy finds out his friend is gay, he may act different around his friend.... or he may ask him to give him a friendly bj and reacharound. You never know how these things turn out.

I think that there is a way different attitude towards gays that are flamboyant. But gays come in all shapes and sizes, so they shouldn't feel this way. It seems like they feel less threatened by a gay guy who is "butch". Maybe it is that are just more comfortable with people that lean toward the "norm" than the ones out on the fringes. That could apply to many groups of people.

As a bisexual male I physically prefer women, but prefer guys when it comes to personality, I just found women to be more shallow and materialistic.

i never hate a gay or bi person becasue of their sexual orientation...if i do hate them, its because their personality...

something i really dont like are these stereotypical gay guys that give all of the other ones a bad name...the ones who are cocky and arrogant...the ones who act like snotty teenage girls...haha

and this sounds like its personality being the factor in how they act towards him...
