I always thought I knew what I wanted to name my children but when it came down to crunch time, I always changed my mind. I guess there are so many factors to think about.. picking a name that will take your child from baby to adult, one that wont get him/her teased etc. Some people worry about picking a name that will fit your child but I believe that we grow into our names. I couldnt image my daughter being called anything else than Hayley or my son being named anything besides Caden.

For what? Your baby? Because they are an extension of you, and you didn't get to pick yours, and you want the "perfect" one because your baby is going to be a perfect extension of you.
I never had a hard time picking my child's name. I knew for years that if I ever had a daughter I was going to give her that name and I have no regrets. I think it is the most beautiful girl's name there is.
I think when people name their kids after the father they are making a mistake!

I didn't have a problem picking a name. Some woman do, some don't names for me came really easy. I just thought of things that I like: Such as flowers! Also I thought of names of family mbrs that meant alot to me or my boyfriend that have passed away. If we have a boy we are naming him after my boyfriends father who passed away of MS almost 3 years ago. Hope that helps! lol

Beacuse a lot of people are scared, if you like the name, you still may be scared because you and the child will have to live with the name forever, but once you find the right one, youll know.. Good Luck! :]

I completely agree ... but I think they want to pick the perfect name and make sure it suits ... cuz the name is forever ... well u can change it if u want but it's best to keep it

because you dont want to pick anything that someone will make fun of...(even though that is REALLY hard)...and some people want to use some kind of form of the name of some person in their family that has past away, and that can be really hard also...but it really isnt that hard for me to pick names!

Too many to choose from I guess. You have to decide on the one that really comes to your mind when you are looking for a name.

its difficult becuz it stiks with them and u want them 2 lik it cuz it costs 100 dollars to legaly change their name
