I believe that first you must pass the LSAT, which is the Legal Scholastic Aptitute Test in the US. After that you apply to the law schools you would like to attend.
Assuming, of course, that you have your student visa in order.
Good luck to you! :o)
Oh and once you pass the LSAT, your chances of getting into a law school are as good as anyone's. Providing you score well on the test.

I would say that your chances of getting into a US law school are excellent, as you would provide a very different perspective on the law from that of the average student. You may have more trouble getting a visa for the U.S., though. In order to begin the process, I would contact directly some of the law schools in which you might be interested. They can guide you through the process. You will have to take the LSAT, but they can explain this to you as well.

I'd suggest starting by going to the websites of the schools you're interested in attending. They each have sections for perspective students, and then a section for international students. Those sections will then address the admissions process for international students. The type of test and the scores they look for. If you're unsure about which specific schools you might like to attend I'd suggest logging onto www.princetonreview.com or www.kaptest.com/law both of these have questionnaires to help you determine which schools might be a good fit. They also have links to school websites so you can find more in-depth information.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

Equal weight. Law Schools care about the type of undergraduate program and your undergraduate grades. If you think you can get better grades at U of T go there and vice versa. Law school admission is more than grades and program. A lot of schools want to diversify the type of students and undergraduate major they accept, so there is no such thing as a good of bad major as an undergraduate. To get accepted to a good school, you need strong grades (3.45+), a great LSAT score (167 - 180), great references, volunteer experience is recommeded, and a lot of prayer.

Well, you need to take the LSAT as a starter. That's the Law School Aptitude Test, and the schools use that, plus your undergraduate (college) G.P.A. as a major factor to determine admissibility. After taking the LSAT, you should probably call the schools of your choice, see what they specifically want you to do for application, and work from there.
Good luck!

You probably want to go into one of the LLM programs that Law Schools have for international students who are already law graduates in there own countries. Look up a list of U.S. law schools and check out their websites, and they will list the requirements to get into one of these programs. I don't know if graduating from one of these programs will make you eligible to sit for the Bar Exam in any of the U.S. states but I don't think you have to take the LSAT to get into them, since you are already a law school graduate in your own country.
