I've read sleeping on the left is preferable for circulation, I always end up on my right! Which I've now read is better for digestion....
I think as long as you're getting the rest you need to keep yourself and the baby healthy then however you get it is fine.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, try surrounding yourself with pillows to keep you in place, if you're really concerned.
Best of luck and sweet dreams!

I know what you mean. My favorite sleeping position is on my back, so I actually hate sleeping on either one of my sides. However, they do say it is best to sleep on your left, so do as best you can to follow those recommendations, particularly toward the latter part of your pregnancy. And like other people already mentioned, a pillow between your knees really does help. Don't stress about it too much, though. I don't think switching positions once in a while will hurt you or your baby...

I was only told to be on my left side at the end of my pregnancy when I had toxemia. Is that your case?? If you do not have toxemia, then I would say its fine to rotate back and forth, its not good for your other leg to ache either. Also put a pillow between your knees it will help a lot, I did that through both my pregnancies and it helped my back and legs not hurt so much.

Just sleep in what ever position makes you comfortable. The baby will usually kick enough to wake you if the position is creating a problem. The key is to just get rest. My doctor told me left is best but if it's not possible don't stress out about it. Good luck!

sleep on the right! Or switch in the middle of the night. The left side is best, but the right is perfectly safe too. I still sleep on my tummy sometimes too!

good sleep is hard to come by especially late term so sleep however is most comfortable to you, however its said that sleeping on your back will cut off the oxygen supply to the baby, but my gf slept on her back and every which way and the baby was fine. good luck to you and baby!

You can sleep on either side, just not on your back. Try putting pillows all around you.
