We pronounce our daughters name Remy Louise as in Emmy, although for the first month my mother in law couldnt get her head around it and pronounced it as in Amy (probably just to get me!)
It is a good strong French name that means "a person fromt the village of Rhiem". We were apprehensive when we chose it, thinking it may be too different but we adore it. Perfect for a strong, intelligent little girl!
I don't know if you have heard of the actress Lisa McCune but she has a Remy too.

i kind of like that name. it's a bit quirky. i watched some movie with j-lo in it and her gay friend was named remy and they pronounced it like emmy.
