Myself and my hubby have been trying for our second baby for 3 months, last time it happened first time round. What are your stories, how long have you been trying and is this different to last time?

My husband and I have been trying for over a year. I started doing the ovulation kits and never got a positive sign. We found out I wasn't ovulating (through blood tests) even though I have very regular cycles. So my doctor put me on Clomid but I still didn't get pregnant the first two cycles. My husband went to get a semen analysis and it came back that he had almost no sperm. Talk about feeling like the most infertile couple ever! He ended up having surgery for varicose veins around the testicles. Three months later his sperm count has sky rocketed but his motility is low. I am back on Clomid so we are praying that are going to have some luck soon.

When we started trying I never imagined this would be the journey we would be on but I know there is a reason for everything.

Hi,

My husband and I are TTC#1. I'm 34, he's about to turn 35. I have very regular periods: April 2, May 2, May 29 - about every 29 days. Using an online calculator (and monitoring CM), I estimate that I ovulated sometime between June 11-13. My husband and I had sex on June 5, 10, 11 and 13th.

Given how regular my periods are, do you think we were successful? I'm only worried b/c ovulation dates are really only an estimate. Plus, I don't notice any symptoms yet, although I'm still not even 2 weeks post ovulation.

So I'm in the waiting period now. Not planning to test until 6/25.

We've been trying since July of '06. It's very frustrating. I've had to take progesterone to start my period and Clomid for the past three months to ovulate. I did get a call from the doctor yesterday and was told that my progesterone levels are up and that I did ovulate with Clomid this month. My period is due on June 27, but I'm hoping for a positive test. Best wishes to all who are TTC.

My husband and I have been trying since last July, when I went off the pill. I found out that I have PCOS and don't ovulate, so my doctor started me on provera and clomid last fall. I actually got pregnant right away but had an early miscarriage in January. After waiting a couple months we started trying again with the clomid, and I'm even seeing an infertility specialist. I'm not pregnant yet, but I'm still optimistic.

Hubby and I have been trying for our first baby (together) for almost 4 yrs. We have been really trying for a couple years. It took me about 16 months to concieve my daughter (we BD'd every other day too the entire time) , Hubby said they weren't even trying when he had his son (both are 8 yrs old now and from prev. relationships). I am currently on provera to regulate my periods and preparing to start clomid soon i hope. We use OPK's now and online tools. Baby dust to us all!!

Only since March but it feels like forever! Ive had 2 'false starts' as well which was upsetting. However, Ive just today bought some ovulation sticks from eBay so if this month's curse shows up again I can test and try again. Its fun trying tho, lol :D Hugs to everyone, hope youre soon with Bump xx

My husband and I have been actively trying for 6 months, but were trying before that with the "if it happens, it happens" attitude. After going to my Gyno he suggested I go on Clomid because I was rarely ovulating. So I am currently on my 3rd cycle and waiting to "O". I hope to get pregnant but it seems to get harder and harder. Especially since my 35 yr old sister just got pregnant for her 2nd one on her first try and my little sister called me today to tell me she is pregnant with her 2nd one. They have only been actively trying for a couple of months. I am 27, my hubby is 28 and we are still ttc our first. I am so jealous of all of you ladies who make it look so easy. But I just keep praying and try not to think about it and hopefully someday it will happen.
Good luck to all still trying and stay healthy to all you mommies to be.

1 1/2 with first
9 months with 2nd
just went off the pill and not trying with third
9 months and counting with 4th.
It is much more frustrating after having one. You know what you should do, just your body doesn't always agree.
Good Luck
