The Red Sox are my 2nd favorite team in baseball. But, the gap from my favorite to 2nd favorite is rather far. I like the way the team plays(all out offense) and I just like the legacy and such behind the team. They are interesting to watch and they have some pretty unique players out there. I have no regional bias or anything, I just dig what they do.
Plus, I am not one to like the Yankees.

I am a huge Red Sox fan. Even when they got killed, I took it like a mna. I remember Buckner, Aaron Boone's homer,Bucky FRIGEN Dent, Carl Yastrzemski's Triple Crown, and of course the World Series!!!! but i admit i sometimes get jealous of the yankees line-up. they're an all-star team.

why do you assume that people feel either way about all these people and teams? i realize that to ny and boston people, they feel extremely strongly about each other, but for the vast majority of the country, we just don't care that much. i don't care if ny beats boston or the other way around. espn portrays the country as caring about this rivalry more then our own teams, for crying out loud. trust me, we don't.

I like Boston okay... I like the Braves better... I was a little p/o at Boston sweeping my Braves like they did last night though.
