If a lot of people tell her wow you are Dark, Dark, then maybe she will get the hint that she is over doing it. But don't tell her that she is Dark in a flattering manner.

I once tanned before going to Florida, and ended up Dark, Dark while I was there. When I got home, Friends and family used the same comment as stated above and I said, I know I am to dark.

I'd try to find as many pic's of people years after tanning. Gosh look at Robert Redford. He was one handsome man before, now the sun spots & leathery skin is permanent. I am 52 & was a avid sun worshiper in my day. Always kept my face covered but nothing else. My face looks 40, the rest is covered with black sunspots. Self tanning sprays are the only way to go unless your friend wants to go to the dermatologist (as I do) to have these maligant spots removed. The scar isn't a pretty site.

If she continues to tan this way she'll have serious problems with aging and appearance, not to mention the risk of skin cancer. If you're truly concerned then tell her.

I wouldn't use word like leathery though.

I too have a coworker that has been tanning too much and have wondered if I should say anything. I'll wait to hear how others respond.

Mind your own business. I, too, have a leathery co-worker.

Mind your own business. She's gonna tan whether you say anything either way, she's addicted to tanning. If you say something you might offend her and then you have to work with her.

If you don't feel out of place, by all means tell her. Tanning is so bad for your skin. Tell her you are concerned about her future health.

It depends on how good of a friend she/he is. If we are talking about a good friend you should tell her. Tanning that much is really not good. I think it looks bad if you tan too much. If she/he is not really a friend then MYOB.
