I'm going to a birthday dinner tonight at a Japanese restaurant and I don't like Japanese food. Do they usually have other items to order?

you won't find a hamburger or lasagna at a japanese restaurant

but going to one doesn't mean having to eat udon soup + sushi + teryaki + boba + tempura if you don't want to

BUT always experiment, just because you haven't tried something doesn't mean you won't like it...be adventurous and try something new :)

OR pretend you're on a diet and just have rice + cucumbers

have fun ^.^ and maybe they'll even have tempura greentea ice cream!!!

I always order Tempura - wonderful, lightly fried veggies and shrimps, if you're lucky! Delicious!

Give it a try!
