I would have to say my favorite is the runner thrown out at the plate, but only by an outfielder. When you get to see an outfielder throw with power and accuracy to prevent a run, that's excitement on many levels.
First, the throw. Will it get there in time? Will it be on target?
Second, the catch and tag. Will the catcher be able to handle the ball? Will he get the tag down in time? Will the catcher and runner collide without the catcher dropping the ball?
Third, the runner. Will he beat the throw? Will he slide or plow into the catcher?
My 2 favorite outfielders right now who pull this off over and over again. Jeff Franceour and Shane Victorino (sp?). Shane is amazing because I can't figure out how he gets such a strong throw being that is smaller than most outfielders.
Definitely the best play in baseball.

My favorite play is when the outfielder...say Melky Cabrera catches the ball for the 1st out and then he throws to Jorge Posada at home plate and Jorge tags the player coming home. I also like when the outfielder takes the a homerun away from the batter...he jumps and sticks his glove over the wall and catches the ball. The Yankees do many of these great plays. GO YANKEES!!! =)

Go to youtube and type in trick pitch - it should be some japanese guy - best strike ever!
The sickest play in the mlb was when Lo Duca tagged out 2 runners at home in the same play - one right after the other in the 2006 NLDS

I'm going with the inside-the-park home run, especially when there is a close play at the plate. It's too bad that Prince Fielder's inside-the-park home run a few days ago didn't conclude with a collision at the plate. I would have loved to see Fielder and his 260-some pounds steamroll a catcher on the way to the plate.

My favorite play is the caught looking third strike on a good curve ball. You see the guys knees buckle and the ball drop in and then the punch out. If you have ever pitched before you know its a great feeling.

The rundown, particularly if the runner is nice and could make it final. that is much extra exciting whilst there is somebody else on base. there is basically lots going on and all human beings on the sphere is shifting. I additionally like seeing a third-baseman make a diving or working seize of a floor ball down the line and throw around the diamond to get the out. I performed third base in college, and it develop into constantly the intense-gentle of the sport for me as quickly as I did that.
