Living or Dead? If it's Living I would have to consider all of the cave explorers and miners that are currently operating at any time. I assume you already know how many people are on Earth and according to my assumption i would say there are approximately 6% in Earth. As far as those that are dead? I don't believe there are any statistics for that at the moment!

On earth, I believe the number is around 6 billion.

you can never find the exact number, you be counting and its never ending. we grow more and more than hell. we have disturbed the ecological balance of species to resources. We are the master predators. We have exploited good nature and some day that will be the sole cause of our extinction. like of dinosaurs. God must be crazy creating us.
