I have never heard of any thing shape or form be called plum except for the fruit. I think his last name was Plum.Because i keep hearing amber refering to him as Garrett. So - i think his first name was Garrett and the last name was Plum. So - i hope this explains this a little bit better for you.

I've heard of Plum for a girl, she works for vogue magazine, Plum Sykes. It's probably an english name, they have some strange names over there.

Plum sounds like a flavor at Baskin Robbins or a color of paint for the dining room. Never heard of a male or female use that name.
