I like it as Da-lain-ee. But I would spell it DeLaney. I think it is a very cute, femenine name.

My first thought was Da-lain-ee. Then I read your question and realized there could be some confusion based on the spelling.

I like the name. I think if you intend to pronounce it Da-lain-ee, you should consider a different spelling. I like Delaney.

The first phonetical spelling you have. I've mostly seen it spelled Delaney. Yes, it is a nice name and would need a 1 or 2 syllable middle name since it has 3.

Del-uh-nee (like Melanie)- this is how I pronounced it when I read your question....but I can definitely see how it can be De-lain-ee...

However, I like Delaney much better:)

When I first saw it I thought it was just a different spelling of Delaney(Da-LANE-ee), so that's how I'd pronounce it. I like it. I also like Devaney(DEV-uh-nee).

the first pronunciation is correct. It can also be spelled Delaney. Its a unisex name, but its becoming more popular for girls. I like it, bit I have an adult male friend named Delaney, so its hard for me to picture it on a little girl, KWIM!!
