Let me guess: This was a youth league game with yahoo umpires.
Could you describe the play in more detail? Were you stealing? Were you trying for a triple?
It is a myth that the plate umpire can overrule other umpires. Each umpire has full authority to make calls and administer the rules (with few exceptions, the biggest being that the plate umpire has sole authority to halt or forfeit a game). The ONLY time the plate umpire can intervene is when two umpires make different calls on the same play. In this case, the plate umpire must decide which umpire was supposed to have the call.
As you describe it, the plate umpire had no authority whatsoever to get involved. That said, the base umpire apparently went along with whatever the plate umpire said, so there's nothing you can do.

Home plate umpire has the call, he rotates to third when there is a possible play in the outfield. Also if they confered that means that they were feeling out what each other saw, maybe the home plate umpire had the better angle and the 2nd base ump jumped to his call. The home plate umpire always has presedence over any other umpire.

Yes, the umpires are allowed to confer and overrule calls. The home plate umpire probably had a better view of what he perceived to be your getting tagged than did the other ump, who I'm guessing was behind the play.

The umpires have a meeting to discuss the call and then they decide and also the home ump had a better view of the play.

The home plate ump had a better view and I think he overrules all the other ump. So it's legal but you should've argued and threw a fit like that minor league manager. That was funny

It is legal because the homeplate ump coulda called you out since he saw a different angle and say him tag you before you got to the base.

absolutely...home plate umpire has the final say...it may not be the right call persay...but he has the final call. Especially professional about your situation is that they talked it over before making the call.
