First of all, the shuttle is not able to go to the Moon, The shuttle was designed to only orbit the Earth, and it takes hundreds of thousands of gallons just to reach orbit.
The Shuttle travela at 17500 miles per hour, to break away from Earth and go to the Moon, the Shuttle would need to have nearky half as much fuel left when it reached orbit to blast away from the Earth and go to the Moon.
But at last there will not in our life time be a Shuttle that can go to the Moon.

Space shuttles don't go to the moon... but it would on adverage take 5-4 days for a space craft to get to the moon... that is how long it took in the Apollo Era

The Shuttle is not designed to make the trip to the moon. It is designed specifically as a low-Earth orbit "18-wheeler moving van".

I do not believe that the Shuttle COULD make a lunar trip. Not enough fuel capacity.

The shuttle wasn't designed for anything other than Low Earth Orbit.

It took the Apollo craft about 4 days to go the distance, primarily because they wanted a "Free return" - meaning, if their engine failed, they'd want a course & speed that would bring them back to Earth.
