I am 11 and haven't started my period yet but I am getting cramps. I wen't to the doctor today and she asked a lot of questions, looked at my vagina then told me that I may get my period soon. But when I told the nurse I have been having it for 7 months she said that was way too long. I just want to make sure there is not something rong with me. The doctor got some of my vaginal discharge on a q-tip, put in a tube and sent it to the lab. My mom workes at the ER at the hospital so when it's done they will call her with the results and then she will call me.

To me I don't know why you have to get your discharge tested. I've been having it for years and nothing is wrong. About a year or so ago. My doctor said I would start my period real soon. Well it's been a year and nothing has happend. So, it is probably nothing to be worried about. It will start sooner or later.

This is PERFECTLY normal. I had discharge for a year before I got my period. It is no big deal. Make sure to wear a panty liner though! :-) And even if you dont get your period you DONT want it! IT SUCKS!

REMEMBER , SOME THING ..WHEN A FEMALE WIPES HER SELF , YOU GO FROM FRONT TO BACK .. MY NIECE IS 5YRS OLD AND WAS HAVING THE SAME ISSUES ..AND IT WAS DUE TO HER WIPING HER SELF WRONG AFTER URINATING AND /OR HAVE A BOWEL MOVEMENT ..
