When I say basic-speed, I mean around a 56 KBPs connection. Like I get about 48 KBPs.
Please say which game you play before answering the question.
Do you ever have problems with lost connections, where your game loses its connection and you are forced to log back in or something along those lines?
How bad is the lag you have, and at different times?

I play Guild Wars and I have a DSL connection, however I have 1 friend who plays with dial-up. He says the game works ok for him, however load times are horrible.
It can be frustrating to have him in our team, because we have to wait forever for him to load into the area, but once he loads in I haven't really noticed much lag from his character.
