I read this on the internet, it's probably just wishful thinking by Yankee fans but what do you think about it?

Just so you all know I do not believe this at all I just saw it and found it interesting. Theres no way the Indians could afford A-Rod anyways.

NO WAY!!! the Indians give up C.C. He's a young, experienced pitcher who is doing ridonculous at home this season, I think he's like 6-1. The Indians are doing great some far and if it's not broken then don't fix it, no need to do anything with the Indians quite yet. They either got the division or the wild card wrapped up, so no trade

The only way the Indians would take A-Rod would be if the Yankees were to pay a portion of A-Rod's contract for them. Whether unjust or not, A-Rod has developed a reputation of a clubhouse cancer, so I don't think the Tribe would want to mess with a good thing that they have going. Especially if it's going to cost them a left-handed ace.

Besides, the article says that this would only happen if the Indians fall out of the playoff race. The Indians are tied for first place largely due to good pitching and hitting. The Tigers are tied for first place mainly due to their hitting, because they only have one pitcher on that entire team who's pitched at least 20 innings and has an ERA under 4. Guess which wins more ballgames: good pitching, or excellent hitting?

Like Fornelli said, it came from the Post, so you have to immediately question the source. I don't believe the Post attributes that reference to anyone, and I'd trust it about as much as I trust the news on Page Six.

Also, I believe that the Indians would have to be seriously out of contention before they dealt away a guy who has anchored their rotation for the past seven years. I'm not a Tribe fan, but I really hope they can C.C. around as one of the faces of that franchise.

they'll furnish him the main funds (while do no longer they provide the guy they want the main funds?), yet i'm not sure in the event that they'll get him. CC needs to stay on the West Coast and he likes to bat, and he gets to do neither enjoying for the Yankees. And mutually as $a hundred and forty+ million is an incredible sort of money, $a hundred and ten-$a hundred and twenty million from a West Coast team is likewise an incredible sort of money and he gets to stay the place he needs to stay and bat while he pitches as a "bonus" to make up for the funds he loses signing someplace out West with a countrywide League team. ....and who can ignore with regard to the actuality that CC purely mowed down NL hitters while he struggled interior the AL in the previous going over to the NL mid-season? That HAS to element into his determination besides i could think of.

That wont happen. Just a silly rumor started by yankee fans to scare red sox fans.

Everyone really knows that it is the yankees that are running scared.

For the past 4 years, the Indians have been waiting for C.C. to turn into the pitcher hes become this year. I doubt they'd trade him now.

no I doubt it if we get rid of anyone it wouldn't be the pitcher that has a record of 10-2 if they make any changes it will be were the Tribe is doubled up for a good reliever I think that is all crap, especially since it's from AOL.
Go Tribe!
