Is anyone else sick of seeing musicians in movies?

I don't know about you but I'm sick of seeing musicians in movies. 50 cent just landed a role with pacino in a new movie. Jessica simpsons is in another movie. It sad to think that so many underrated actors and actresses are losing jobs because of musicians . To make things worst these musicians can't even act. What do you think? PS sorry for any grammar errors I'm rushing

Yes, they need to pick their careers, if they want to be actor, stop being a musician, if you want to be a musician stop showin up in all these moives!! You right, they either have small, usless parts, of really suck!!!

Some pop stars (NOT "musicians," sorry) go into acting because they know they won't be pop stars forever and want to transition into another career, and acting has a far longer shelf life than being a pop star. Some examples that come to mind are Queen Latifah, Ice Cube, Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg.

And some pop stars are good actors. Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg have both gotten Oscar nominations. And critics have said good things about Justin Timberlake's performance in "Alpha Dog."

Personally, I never was a fan of "Marky Mark", which is what Wahlberg went by when he was a cheeseball teenybopper rapper, but I loved Wahlberg in both "Boogie Nights" and "The Departed."

1. Actors sometimes become musicians. So fair is fair.

2. ALL musicians are NOT bad actors. Ice Cube, Ice-T, L.L. Cool J, Sting, Queen Latifah, and many other actors have received critical acclaim in movie roles, and Cher even won an Oscar. So if they do a good job, then who cares if they are a musician?

I do hate it when bad acting musicians get into movies, but the fact is that I hate it when bad acting actors and actresses get into movies, too. Truth is that if these musicians did not take roles, likely it would not be an "underrated" actor taking their place. It would likely just be another bad one.

I think Jennifer Lopez is a very good actor. But Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne aren`t good actresses.

No. Most of them do a great job... What I'm tired of is NBA stars trying to become musicians.
