No ; but it's always a nice surprise when a stranger does something kind for you , like offering to carry some of your 40 books to the check-out desk at the library ..or letting you jump ahead in the 10 Items or less line . Even better when somebody waves me on when I'm trying to exit a parking lot .
I try to repay those kindnesses ; and I believe what goes around comes around . Most importantly ..it's those times when it could have meant my life - but for the kindness of a stranger .

I sometimes do when they hold the door open for me or let me merge onto the freeway. I don't consciously do it though.
