$500 every 3 weeks is pocket change. Get a clue and keep up with inflation.
FYI. Federal Document Couriers (with a top secret clearance) get paid close to $65 to $70 K a year -- and that was early 2000s pay scale. So for $5,000 every 3 weeks I would take that job BUT NOT FOR $500.
