Yes, it will die of its own bite. You must have heard that snakes sometimes commit suicide. They do so if kept in captivity for long or subjected to starvation. They bite to other part of the body and die as a result of the reaction of the venom.

Well that depends on the type of rattlesnake.
There is a big possibility that these snakes could die from their own venom and other snake's venom.
Take for example the cobra this snake has a powerful neurotoxic venom that could easily kill almost any animal , yet the cobra has developed a way to fend off its own venom. Cobras don't usually kill other cobras in the wild unless the size difference is imperatively big.
I would beieve that it would be similar with a rattlesnake . Rattlesnakes do at times eat their own becoming cannibals so they would need enough poison to take out another rattlesnake , however if it bit itself I doubt it would die.
The reason is because if it did bite itself which would probably never happen it wouldn't inject itself with poison. They can choose when to let the venom out.
However if it maneged to POISON itself I believe it would die.
Hope this answered your question

i would think so,because rattlesnakes also feed on other rattlesnakes so i guess they would need more then the sufficient poison to do the job then would it have been not a rattlesnake.
Now if the rattlesnake bit itself im positive it would die, because different rattlesnakes have different poisons so that rattlesnake would be immune to some but not his own

No, all venmous animals contain their own antivenom. Also the poison is already in their system because they produces it in glands so if it bites itself then it is just put something into itself that already is contains within it. so the answer is no.,

Hi,
No, snakes are all immune to their own venom.
Otherwise, thousands of them would die during the mating process as things can get pretty fraught between them!!

The venom would not kill it (it is immune)... if the fangs punctured an organ it could possibly die, especially if it was a vital one.

if it bit its self there was probably already something wrong with it...i saw a garden snake start convulsing once and it bit itself and was twisting around...very sad....
