I just got the Dell C521. It has a 285W Power supply. Well I just got a 300W Chaintech 7300GS Video card. On the Dell Forum's they say that 300W cards work because Dell rates their power differently then other companies, its a safety measure on their part. What do you all think?

i would get another powersupply. I reccommend 500W or more.

Even if its a little better the graphix card draws the same as the PSU. Your computer wouldn't even turn on.

DELL is a proprietary system, it uses an odd size of PSU; an aftermarket part, not bought from Dell may not work. It may not even fit in the case.
