I think imagining success causes you to make the changes to ensure it. For example, if you are overweight, but post photos of yourself at the weight you want to return to, or buy an outfit in the size you want to be and you continue to concentrate on that goal, you will make the changes in your diet or exercise plan to reach your goal. I don't believe that thinking about the lottery constantly will make you a winner (no matter how many tickets you buy). So if the goal is attainable and within your control, yes. If it is not within your control, no amount of thinking about it will ensure it is going to happen. Mastermind- I sent Jessica your phone number, she should be calling any time now.

This is a very interesting question... I could swear to you that this way of thinking has become a part of my everyday life. If i think about a song, then it will come on or I will see the video on television almost all of the time. Many of my friends will bring something up that I have been thinking about all day-that they have no idea about, or they will out of no where bring up something that I have been wanting to ask them, or have been thinking. Its so strange! I know I sound crazy...

No, there is no reason to think this, no evidence of this.

Thinking about a hot fudge sundae won't make one materialize or float to you from the nearest ice cream parlor.

The mind doesn't "attract" what it thinks about. However, if you think about something, your attention is on it, and you will notice related things in the environment. You will be drawn to them or repulsed by them, depending on what you think about them.
