You forgot all the ones on the Democratic side who are also all gun ho for more war. There is NO DIFFERENCE in the parties anymore...all the "candidates" are obviously just corporate globalist puppets.
Remember Kerry and Bush are cousins and both "Skull and Bones" members...indeed Barbara Bush (W's mommy) is the great granddaughter of President Franklin Pierce (the guy who massacred the Indians).
Please ignore the Puppet Show it is only intended to confuse, distract and divide the people (sheeple) so they will not recognize and revolt against the true evil who runs the political puppets.
The corporate-financial Puppet masters will never allow Dr Ron Paul to even sniff a ballot in the general election...although I will surely write him in on my ballot if there is an election in 2008 (prospects don't look good for that).

I think your really off base on Fred Thompson, I am a very liberal person, but I like Fred. I think if anyone can give Sen. Clinton a run for her money it is him....and if you look at the people you have listed..................they are not even close to the category that Fred Thompson is in. He is good man with "GREAT" ideas, and doesn't follow what everyone else does...just to get elected. If it came down to Sen. Clinton or Former Sen. Thompson.....it would be a hard choice for me at this stage!

Sweeping generalizations. How do you know Fred Thompson is a neo-con? Have you done your research? If so, let's see some sources and references for your gibberish. Guess what.. I know for certain that Fred Thompson is NOT a neo-con. He himself is not tied to any special interest groups nor are his political advisors tied to any neo-con policies. In fact, he has denounced some of the policies held by the Bush administration.
And define "neo-con" for us. Is it anybody who doesn't agree with your liberal socialist political point-of-view? Or is it just another label you place on any God-fearing, conservative, patriot?

I think it's because Americans have been infected with neo-con ideas. They see huge government as a good thing.
But I guess they refuse to realize that the government is no longer accountable for anything.
Since Ron wants to shrink government...that's actually a good thing. He even proposed to get rid of the Federal Reserve (something Kennedy tried to do back in the 60's). He even wants to abolish the abusive IRS.
Why Americans don't see these intentions as a good thing means that they want to be tied down and oppressed by this government because they are used to it. They want to be afraid of it because they are used to it.

Because middle America still votes that way. Until they wake up to see that not everyone wants the Neocon Republican as President and that those presidents always lead us into wars and tax cuts (with the resulting deficit growth), then there will likely not be enough votes from the rest of the country to change that archaic thinking.

that's the perfect factor - permit Kucinich bypass on a communication prepare if he desires to be heard. permit people who desire to pay attention him watch that prepare. A presidential debate aspects a raffle for human beings to pay attention the applicants that certainly have a raffle of triumphing. i've got faith any sensible definition of "risk of triumphing" can't contain a candidate with decrease than 5% of the vote.

Well, I dont know that those you mentioned are all 'neo-cons" but I DO agree with you about Ron Paul. He is the only one who seems to get it, he's got my vote.

Mitt Romney is easily the best candidate available. Regardless of whether is a neocon, he is the antithesis of Bush: smart, articulate, wildly successful, a problem solver. http://www.dryflypolitics.com
