For me it was around the 3 month stage, proposed at 6months married 10 months later. Married almost 8yrs now.

This question is different for everyone because everyone has a different feelings about marriage and some are just commitment phobic. I think you are sure when you feel like it would be miserable if that person wasn't in your life. Like many people say I couldn't live a day without you in my life.

Most times when couples marry they have a bond that makes them feel like a missing piece of their soul has been found with their mate.

I was never 100% sure all the way to the chapel. I loved her but thought maybe i wasn't in love with her. We dated for 2 years and was engaged for 2 yrs before we were married. We stayed together up until last year when she had her 3rd affair. Enough was enough! Now i'm divorced and hate her for what she did to our family and friends.

you marry someone when there is no need to lie ,to hide...to fake , to be angry..., when you have peace and feel like being yourself , when you trust and are trusted , when you see yourself living life with that person , when you know is not just infatuation ,but you really love the person and whatever is asociated with that , for time and no matter what circumstances you have to afront in time ... then ...you can think in marrying that person it takes a year to get to that point ...or.....a very smart mind to realize what you found , or.....a really really fortunate encounter.
