I just got my SAT scores and they are horrible...

51 crit reading

53 math

56 writing

math + verbal = 1040 (1600 total)

Will this hurt me tons? I can't beleive i recieved such a score..hopefully my ACT is better. What fear is that my scores aren't good enough for a school such as A&M.

Also do college apps ask for PSAT scores?(my PSAT score was very good)

Your PSAT is just that, a Preliminary test. It's the SAT scores that really count. You have a lot of competition out there, but don't give up.

Sorry, PSAT scores are not used. The scores might not completly destroy you, but they can hurt a lot. I would suggest retaking the test after studying a lot for it.

If your PSATs were substantially better, I agree. Retake the SAT and see if you can't do better. They'll accept your highest score.

PSAT scores are not used.
