Joe you ask such deep questions.
I mean for myself I have to say, when my daughter wakes up in the morning and she has got that adorable sleepy look on her face, she comes and sits on my lap and curls up ever so close. Everything about her.. I could go on and on. My older daughter, she has become a beautiful intelligent 22 year young female, that a smile that can light a room, my boy 19 year young stubborn male, yet a sensitive soul full of love and heart. Its beautiful to see family, friends, lovers, partners sometimes even a stranger. The site of the world, all the beautiful majestic places. The massive ocean to a simple sunflower. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I see so much beauty cuz there is alot of beauty out there to see.

The sunrise on Mt. Katadin. (first spot to get sunlight in the US) "As Maine goes so does the rest of the US."
The sunrise over the water is nice too, especially if your on a boat 16 miles out to sea where you can't see the shore anymore.
I love the beauty of a new fresh untouched day, it offers so much promise.

My teenaged daughter, no longer a little girl (14) brushing her hair in the mirror. She has such confidence, such natural beauty, I wonder how I had a child so perfect.

The ocean, the world untouched by humans, all that.. I personally don't think cities or city scapes are beautiful at all. Moutains, oceans, rivers, valleys, and the earth as it naturally is is what's beautiful.. It's really sad to think that it's slowly losing it's beauty because of us.

Happiness, but I find that the best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or touched, they must be felt with the heart. :)
