Ice is okay for a quick polish. But it is synthetic and really isn't real wax at all.

My expereince has been that these new synthetic polish (including Ice, Nanowax...etc) although convenient, don't last as long as a good hour's work using Meguire's Gold Class wax.

I normally spray on Eagle One Was-As-You-Dry everytime I wash my car (once in 1-2 weeks). In between washes, if it gets a little dusty (especially with tree pollen these days), I touch it up with Nanowax spray, and about once in 2-3 months, I do a proper waxing with Meguire's Gold Class. Seems to work well for me so far.

If you have chips, the best way is to use a touch-up paint pen and fill them up before they rust. Wax will actually prevent the paint from adhering to the surface. Best way is to use a Q-tip with some alcohol to clean out the chip, if the area has no rust yet, paint it over with the touchup paint. If it's already rusting, you will need to remove the rust first.
