There are no KNOWN women authors, but then it's not known who wrote most of the books of the Bible. There are only traditions (such as "Moses wrote the Torah", which fails to explain how he wrote about his own death and burial), and there are more scholarly theories. Those theories include that some parts were written by women (some of the apocryphal books definitely were- in THUNDER PERFECT VISION, an apocryphal NT book, God speaks in a feminine first-person even).
However, the reason women did not write more of if any of the Bible is that they were treated by the ancient Hebrews similarly to the way they are treated by the Taliban or Saudi Arabians today. They were not regarded as the equals of men, they were not usually educated, and they were not encouraged or sometimes even allowed to read or express opinions on religion in a culture where religious disagreement was already very heavily frowned upon even by men. That's why it's not surprising there aren't a whole lot of really feminist sentiments in the Bible- consider the writers.

Women were not allowed to write books back then. Only men were allowed to create books. Although this seems unfair, it's true. However, women are featured several times in the bible. For example, Mary.

That statement is not true. Tradition holds that Esther wrote the book of Esther. A lot of scholars believe Ruth was authored by a woman, and Hebrews too.
Also keep in mind that in any literature of the time- not just religious- female authors were few and far between.

Because the compilers of the Bible were men enmeshed in a patriarchal society. Also because women have only really been reading and writing for the last five or six hundred years.

Perhaps some wrote under pseudonyms? Women have been repressed for thousands of years by the moronic troglodytes--especially those in charge of what passes for "religion" on the prison planet.

The bible isn't sexist. a million Corinthians 11:3 says "yet i want YOU to appreciate that the top of each and every guy is the Christ; in turn the top of a woman is the guy; in turn the top of the Christ is God." This exhibits that guy is dominant interior the congregation. So because of the fact of this why guy wrote the bible as a replace of woman.

Who was the book of Ruth written by, and if men were such pigs back then, why include this book at all, and not call it Ruth's husbands name instead.

because the patriarchal religion of christianity evolved from the goddess-based religions to take power away from women. that's the way the church wanted it.
