Is it a good business to be in, or do you require a large capital to start the business? Is there a monopoly? Or are there any other factors to be taken into account?

You would need to be an undertaker or hire one. You would need to understand all the laws involved in dealing with the bodies. Most importantly you would need to have the ability to deal with grieving people while perhaps giving them even more bad news in a caring manor but not taking it to heart.
If you buy the building it will be very expensive and you may also want to buy the flower shop and you will need an inventory of caskets and urns besides the furnishings.

You would need a funeral director and meet all the rules required. You would need premises and vehicles which are custom built and expensive to run

You will need ability to empathise with people and will need to be proactive for other people when they are least in the position to make decisions. If you have never helped people in need, this business is not for you.
