I wouldn't say it's weird.
If she has social issues, then she probably wouldn't have any friends.
If she is very good looking, then I'm sure she's had more than her share of people going after her, and she wasn't interested.
I was 20 and in the same boat, I wouldn't say I had social issues, just that most of the guys I'd encountered didn't strike my fancy.
If she's taken the time to wait and date the right guy, then she'll probably be an awesome girlfriend. She's had the time to listen to her friends gripe about their relationships, and learn what to do or not to do. Sure, every guy isn't the same, but it's a good place to start, knowing you don't want this kind of guy or that kind of guy like one of your friends had.

There is nothing wrong just as long as she is happy. People choose to lives their lives differently. We don't all need to conform to the standards that we see on t.v. or all around us. If she had social issues she would have no friends. Don't worry many of us take our time in different aspects of life. I personally would say she is a gem because she is putting a lot of effort to staying the way she is.

Yes, this is a little unusual, but not exceptional. Many women just don't have the desire to pursue romance at all, or don't discover their desire until later in life.
It is probable that she has some social issues, probably some issues with men as well. Could still be a gem, but may need some special care.

Poor thing??? I f she is banking on finding the right guy- that could never happen. I believe you should date a t least a few it helps one mature, figure out what they like and don't like it gives you experience. I think she may have social issues. If I had stayed with my first love ( at the time I thought he was God) I would be ruined he was a complete jerk, but at the time he made me believe this was how men were so I stayed for four years in a bad relationship. She needs to discover whats out there and date lots of nice poeple and learn from them. I think there is a lot to be learned even in relationships that don't work out!

My wife and I didn't kiss until we were married. We were engaged for a little over a year, and it was very difficult to not kiss. There is something special about saving your kisses all for your life-love. It's as if when you kiss someone, not as a friend/relative, you give a piece of your heart away. I think one should try to save as much of your heart for the person you want to marry. I'd say she's a gem! :)

I don't think she has any issue. It's her own choice to wait for the right guy and that might be better for her because when she finds the right guy she'll have lots of love to express that lots of people at the age 22 don't have. This also means that her first kiss will be great and she'll know in the instand if that's her guy^^
She might be lesbo though but i don't see anything wrong with that either everyone has the right to like who they like and wait as long as they want to express their love^^

A gem! It's a shame that todays society considers it weird or that something is wrong if an individual has control and knows what she is looking for. Good for her - wish there were more level headed young people (and old), living with respect for themselves as she sounds to be!

She's a gem. My sister didn't get her first kiss/boyfriend till she was 24. She is amazing, just was waiting for the right guy.

i cna't judge her
maybe she has other personal goals in her life than dating.
I"m 30 and haven't dated in 12 years. I have enough stuff to do in my life no time for a person. nobody wieghts me down
lonliness isn't even much of an issue.
i do have social issue sperhaps she does too but so what if she does it doesn't make her weird by any stretch.
