I have a PC tower that I currently use. However, I am looking to get an iMac G5 in the future. I still want to use my PC at times, so is it possible to plug my PC into the iMac and use it as a monitor when required?

There is a way of doing it with another Mac, and it requires some software. I can't find the link, but that same question has come up several times in here.

You won't be able to do it with a PC though.

stay away from dell. apple does not make any more g5 imacs, they switched over to intel processors last January. imacs now come with the new intel core 2 duo processors. no u cannot use the imac as a monitor 4 ur desktop, but the new macs can run windows so y would u need it still

No but I recommend you get a program that adds windows to your Mac. You can then run all of the windows programs.

Stay away from Mac. Get a Dell XPS 2010, pricey but worth it.
