Try drinking at least 2litres of water every day (equivalent to 8 large glasses) and eat the right foods, especially those that contain iron. Do this for a week and if things don't improve, see a doctor.

Anemia. Your period can make you anemic- which means that the blood loss is causing you to not have enough iron in your system. You can either eat a bunch of iron-rich foods during that time, or you can take a vitamin supplement with iron in it. It's especially common for younger girls, because you tend to have way more intense periods that last longer than older women do. If you try the iron thing and you still feel that way, go to your gynecologist to make sure it's nothing too serious. Oh, and don't forget to take it easy every month. Just slowing down a little can make a BIG diference.

It's incredily important to drink at least 2-3 litres of fluid a day to maintain healthy kidneys. Failure to do this could result in kidney stones or as a worse option multiple organ failure (BELIEVE ME THE PAIN OF KIDNEY STONES IS F@@@@@@ INCREDIBLE!)
They say the pain is like childbirth AYE, RIGHT! - but childbirth doesn't tend to last for 8-12 months.
I'm not a doctor, so I'd really suggest you see your own to rule out other possibilities since you admit you feel, at times, like passing out. Depriving yourself of food is also a big no-no.
You will get a range of good and bad answers on yahoo answers, but you'll never really know for certain until you take advice from a suitably qualified doctor.

You should probably see a doctor. Also, when you feel like you are going to black out, it helps to sit own and put your head between you legs. The blood needs to rush back into your head.

It sounds a LOT like hypoglycemia. You should definitely see your doctor to make sure, but I'm just giving you my opinion because one of my best friends got diagnosed with it a few months ago and it's exactly how she felt.
Here's some more info:
