your RAM needs to be bumped up to a MINIMUM of 1 gig. i'd say to hit 2 just to be safe, cause even with 1gig i have seen problems.
And your video card needs to be a bit higher, not too much. if you want basic, try and get a 128, i have seen some comps. with a 256 and it looks pretty good. I myself have a 512 here at work. Runs like a champ on vista business.

If you run with 256mb of RAM, chances are your PC will be so slow you can't do anything. Get at least 1gb. Other than the RAM, you should be able to run it no problem.

Dont get Vista It sucks big time.
1. It is infested with bugs.
2. Has no more functionality than XP.
3. Your computer is never going to run vista with those specs.

Stay with XP for a while until vista gets debugged, then get a FAST computer, and then upgrade to vista.

Good luck,
Benno

ARRRGGGHHHH! OH NOES!! If you run Vista on that system, time and space will collapse inward about you, leaving you in an interdimensional singularity! DON'T DO IT!!

If you install vista then yo it would be really difficult to play games that require huge memory as vista itself consumes most of yo ram. so better stick wid xp.
