Goldfish: coldwater
Oscar: warmwater.

Not to mention that an Oscar, all alone, will only just, just fit into a 55 gallon when they grow (no fish stays a baby forever), and they grow fast.

Speaking of fast growth, your baby Oscar will outgrow your goldfish and goldfish will become tasty food.

If the tank is the right temperature for the goldfish it will be to cool for the Oscar.

Simply put, that is not a good idea.

These are fish with different temperaments, not to mention different water requirements. Save yourself now.

goldfish and moor yes. Oscar NO!
