If dinosaurs can turn into birds, then why can't humans do that too? This is just another hole in the thoery of evolution. So called scientists scramble for explanations, but they can offer nothing but sorry excuses. evolution can not stand up to the test of fact and reason.

Evolution doesn't exist.
How do we actually know that dinosaurs turned into birds, no one was around to actually see a live dinosaur and if humans could turn into something else then why didn't we already do that.

The theory is that some dinosaurs evolved into birds.

In theory, a human could evolve into a bird, or some other non-human-looking critter. But why would he do so? The critter into which he has evolved seems to get around pretty well without wings. In fact, the physics of the matter would require a breastbone several feet long in order to support the muscles necessary to work wings strong enough to lift him.

The theory of evolution is based on "trial and error." Genes and chromosomes do their thing. A few generations try out the change. The changes that don't work die out, clearing the gene pool of that experiment.

The theory is also that man had more hair than he does now. But, with the advent of clothes, he doesn't need hair for warmth. Today hairy people are not particularly popular. Thus, that trait too, is being removed from the gene pool.

Science is in search of the truth. Religion claims to have it. Why doesn't religion let science alone? Perhaps one day some scientist will turn over a rock and find absolute proof of religion's contentions.

But religion hasn't fared too well with science...

Let's see. The Earth was the back of a giant turtle...
Then it was flat
Then it was the center of the universe... religion even killed people for thinking that one false.
Then it was the center of the solar system... religion threatened people who thought that false.
Then man was the only intelligent being in the universe... religion felt pretty safe on that because it's rather difficult to find any kind of life so far out into space... but we found intelligent life without having to leave the planet.
Science even tried to help here. Man was intelligent because he used tools. Then they saw a sea otter banging shellfish on a rock. Well man is the only critter that modifies things found in nature into tools. Then somebody saw a great ape stripping the leaves and twigs off a branch and forming a "fishing pole" which he stuck into a termite mound to catch termites. Ok. Well man's the only critter with the ability to talk. Then he discovered that cetaceans seemed to have speech patterns. Then they found that they could teach some primates to communicate in sign language. How about this... man is the only cirtter that's self aware? Wrong again.

So religion, in an effort to keep man superior came up with, "Man is the only critter with a soul." And with a smirk they muttered under their breath, "Let's see you disprove that one." Well, they're right... science can't prove that animals have souls. Unfortunately science can't prove that man has one either.

For some strange reason, religion, in a kind of perverse hypocrisy, though it feels that science has to prove every theory it explores, religion sees no need to provide concrete evidence of any of its contentions. If science, in its search for the truth, finds a flaw in any of its theories, religion jumps on that as absolute proof that everything science says is wrong. If one points out the least little discrepancy in some religious dogma, they get, "You're going to hell," or "You just don't understand," or "Well some things are just beyond human understanding."

Want to find out if man could have feathers like a bird? Dan 4:33.

people probably could turn to birds, but as soon as the first feather appeared on a person the Christians would persecute them as being the spawn of Satan and kill them off before they made an impact. In reality, evolution is the choosing of desirable traits for the situation causing an overall change to the species eventually creating a new species. People are further along the evolutionary path than birds so it would be a step back if we grew feathers and wings. The path of evolution goes fish then amphibians then reptiles. With reptiles came the amniotic egg, then the reptiles branched into two warm blooded kingdoms, the birds and mammals with mammals being a more advanced branch. Each kingdom is further advanced than the one before it. Get educated, not acknowledging evolution makes you too lazy to do proper research and does not make you against Christianity.

First off, Earth is about 4.5 Billion years old.

Some dinosaurs and birds had the same evolutionary ancestor, that's not the same as saying dinosaurs evolved into birds. It's a fine distinction, but a very important one to understand if you're going to go around bashing science and scientists.

So humans didn't evolve to have wings, so what? Evolution is random - what happens to one species won't necessary happen to another species.

so the reason why the theory of evoluton is impossible is because humans did not eveolve into birds? is that what you are saying? lets see, humans evolved from apes which eveolved from a smaller creature that would resemble a rat. they would burrow to escape the dinosaurs. the dinosaurs die, our ancesters are free to evolve. over 22 million years it evolved into every form of mamal. we all have a common ancester, apes, humans, rats, whales, dogs, cats, even some birds. our skelatol structurers are similar. and then what is your answer to the great question of how did we get here? we surely didnt just poof her magically, we also have only had recorded history for about 5000 years. humans have been around for about 1.5 million years. we evolved from a form of ape, just face it. there is no question that can not be answered by this theory. the apes wanted to use tools with their hands, over time their hands changed, they walked upright all of the time, they lost hair, they gained intelligence. now they are called homo sapiens.

Humans have the unique ability to adapt to whatever living conditions they happen to be in. There was no need for us to evolve any further. Adaptation wins out over evolution every time. Adaptation takes only a small amount of time, while evolving can take hundreds if not thousands of years.
Adaptation takes intelligence, while evolution does not.
No person or creature can make a conscious decision to evolve, it does not work that way.
Environmental stress is what drives evolution.
Humans are masters of their environment.

You have no interest in science. You only have interest in causing trouble. Your closed mindedness is your biggest enemy.

If God is all powerful (which I believe he is) who to say He couldn't be the driving force behind evolution?

Stop putting all your faith in a book written by man. Sure the Bible is good for some things but men are fallible. They misunderstand God. They mistranslated languages. They are subject to their own prejudices.

Open your mind AND your heart and it will all make sense.

You're part of the reason that I'm writing a book about why God and Science don't have to fight.

Also, I reported you for being a troll.

Who. Boy did YOU open a can of worms. This is a good topic to argue. And that's all you will get is an argument. There are two things you can't discuss with out causing an argument. The bible, evolution, and politics. O.k., O.k., three!
My dad went to S.M.U. and came out a preacher, and yet he believed in evolution. I said," Dad, you can't do that. Preachers aren't suppose to believe in evolution." He said "God created the earth and every living thing on it. Man is the one who decided to TELL us how he did it, not God . Look around. What you see is what you get. And God dosen't have to explain how he did it or how long he took to do it to anyone."

The Real Morgan Jones strikes again! Yet another one of those fascinating questions that completely debunks years of geological investigations! I think I will become a religious fundamentalist and completely abandon all my former belief in Science! I never saw it coming!

Your comparing apples to oranges. The dinosaurs roamed the earth for a far longer time frame than humans thus far have.

jd's answer put it nicely....id sooner believe in lochness monster than god..at least there is proof that those creatures existed at one point in time..christians are an amusing lot filling their museum's with cave men and dinosaurs ranting about the earth is only 7000 yrs old....get a grip people..evolution is fact (not theory)..if you dont believe in evolution then please explain wisdom teeth..........and for the other smarties out there, man didnt evolve directly from apes but another type of sub species that eventually turned into a bi-pedal species, that in turn, evolved into (depending on their enviroment) another type of pre human and so on...
