I broke two bones in my arm playing baseball when I was a kid way back in 1986. I was in a cast for 7 weeks.

There are several incidents in which pitchers have broken their arms while throwing a pitch. Dave Dravecky (Giants) and Tony Saunders (Devil Rays) are two that come to mind. I also coached college ball for 7 years and had one of my pitchers break his arm while delivering a pitch. Although, very uncommon, it does happen.

If my memory is correct, I remember Ted Williams breaking his arm when he crashed into the wall in Fenway trying to make a catch. I am sure there have been others, but I am almost positive Williams broke his arm.
