I have one pc with two monitors. My video card works for both monitors. My question is that I want to know if it is possible to control whatever that you see in the screen independently. I have extra keyboard and mice and I want to be able to control independently. I learned that if both use at the same time mouse will not work. Is there any device or software that can be used so both can operate independently?

You can't do that with a standard PC or operating system. Some multi-input devices are making their way to the market but not at the consumer level. If you want to split the screens, you'll need to hook them up to a second computer.

** Edit **
UNIX, Linux, and MS Terminal servers sort of allow what you want but they are really running multiple window environments. The terminal clients are independent devices though so not exactly what you are wanting.

No. In effect you want your 1 computer to operate as if it were 2 separate computers...at this time, that is not possible.

I love having 2 monitors though. For what I do at work, I can't imagine going back to just 1! SO much easier to compare documents, cut/paste info from one to another, etc.
