I had a friend that everytime I would start to vent she would run over me with the "mine was so worse". Grrrr.

My friend Rachel does that NONSTOP!!! If I say something, ANYTHING, she turns it into something about her. I could be complaining about my period, and she goes "Well, last time I had mine, I bled"....WELL NO SH*T!
Not only does she do that, but she worships me or something! Whenever I do something, she always has to copy it. I say "I need my daily dose of Callie (my bff!!) and then she says she needs her "daily dose of Kelsey (me!?!). Then, if there is an inside joke, that she isn't in on, she pretends like she knows whats going on and laughs. She is so annoying, but I can't tell her that or she will freak out and stuff. Sorry, I just went on a giant Tirade, but only because I knoe exactly what you are talking about.♥

OMG! Yes. I do!
I have two like that actually and it drives me off the friggin' wall! Every time I tell her I've had a bad day or I need to talk, she goes off about how bad her day was or what so&so said that hurt her feelings and how dramatic this and that and blah blah blah.
Friends listen to one another but when you do it constantly alllllllll day long, it gets so tiring!
The other person moans about how nobody loves her, she's ugly, fat, etc etc when nobody pays attention to her for 5 minutes... then when you tell her to stop that crap, she starts in with it again!
How can people be like that? Mentally exhausting dealing with people like that!

Yes, he's been a friend for over 15 years and he hasn't changed. He's a good guy, but sometimes I have to just get up and leave because it's so annoying. I agree GRRR!!

Yes, my cousin does that all the time, she always tries to out do me ...I think its frustrating.....but funny at the same time
cause I find someone else to vent to and feel better then I
call her and I can laugh and feel better knowing I had already talked to someone else....

Used to have a bunch of friends like that.....Now, I'm stuck with a sister-in-law who thinks that the world revolves around her. VERY annoying!! And I can't stand being around her most days. :(

My friends are not like that, but I have known other people who were. It was so irritating, after a time I stopped talking to them completely. I think they wanted my pity.

my friend does that to me always, i just can't stand it, she'll act like she is listening and then as soon as i wait for a response she starts talking about her situations, it's sooo annoying!
