The word "palace" comes from the name of one of the seven hills of Rome, the Palatine Hill. Maybe it's the oldest palace. But you have to consider other histories such as Indian history, which goes as far back as Roman history. You should contact an Indian cultural center for info.

The Oldest on Record is the Ur level III palace of an un-named Sumerian King in what is now southern Iraq.
