You can get cucumbers in bush or vine, depends on the variety you choose.

Okra grows on a bush and has a very nice purple blossom.

Well, most cucumbers are a vine and need something to grow on. However, there are cucumbers with a shorter growth habit known as bush cucumbers. Okra is a tall plant and does not vine out.

Okra plants do not have vines, they grow directly off the stalks of the plant and Cucumbers grow on more of a bushy plant, I guess you could say like watermelons, but they don't vine out as much!

Most cucumbers grow on a vine. Most let them grow along ground like watermelons but can be put on a trellis. Okra grows on a stalk. Most will not get over 5 ft. tall. Now you know!! Hope it helps!
