No, that's usually people who are insulting all the time that need that, particularly those that constantly insult one whole group of people in a bigoted way ("THOSE people"). We have them in all sorts of flavors: republican, democrat, white, Islamic, Christian, asian, etc. The type aimed at other races is called racism.
I think "partism" might work for political parties, but time will tell as people start standing up to such people and saying,...
...I am a democrat. You do NOT represent me.

Actually the repetition works and people who are otherwise capable of reasoning begin to believe these slogans. Our minds look for categories and shortcuts anyway, and when someone provides a what seems to be a useful way of framing an issue, many of us adopt it without any critical thinking.

How do you like THESE slogans:
"Ted Kennedy killed more people with his car than I have with my gun."
"It takes a village idiot to vote for a Democrat"
"It depends on what your definition of what the word "IS" is."
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
"I invented the Internet."

For the same reason liberals have slogans like "It takes a village" and "I feel your pain." Let's also not forget all the lovely "political correctness" lingo they created.
Oh, and by the way, freedom IS NOT free.

How nasty is your snipe at the other poster who is totally right? He must have hit a nerve or you to attack his use of cliches to make his point. You're smarter than this.
