I believe they were, but I may be wrong, there has been so much information given so quickly over the last few weeks by so many different news channels and papers.
I do know that Nifong only did what he did in an effort to get re-elected, which was SO very wrong! Now, Karma has finally bitten him on the ***!!! :)

Yes and they are supposed to get some type of a settlement from the University however it was stated that they were not going to disclose how much they are going to get.

Duke reached a financial settlement with them to cover legal fees and such, I am sure it was enough to finish out the college days and then some.

Yeah, sure! I'd be happy if those Black groups on campus as well as Al Sharpton wrote an apology for jumping to conclusions, though isn't that how Al got his radio show? He hasn't apologized to those two White NYC police officers yet.
