I'm answering for who is the best walk off hitter this very moment...It would have to be A-rod...he is having the best season of his life right now & he had 4 yankee games on his bat this season , including a walk off grandslam...he is the single guy right now, if I had a game for my life right now...I would want him him up in the 9th more than anyone else...A-rod seems to be more of a healthy player than Ortiz....so if it comes to a error in the outfield on a extra base hit..and you need 4 runs across in the 9th...A-Rod is the one who would get that inside the park home run...not Ortiz, A-rod matches Ortiz in power, and will have more HRs, AVG. and clutch hits than Ortiz will ever have...

I can think of two guys I would not want to see if I was pitching in the bottom of the 9th.

First is Alex Rodriguez. From what he has showed so far this year, he is right now the best homerun hitter in the league, and has hit several clutch homers.

A close second is David Ortiz. He hasn't been doing it so much this season, but last season I can think of several instances when David came up in the 9th and ended the game single handed.

Three are 3 players I wouldn't want to face in the 9th.

A-Rod-Before he was a choker, but this season he has redeemed him self. I think he has 4 walk-offs.

David Ortiz-I'm a Yankee fan, but even I admit it. What he did in the 2006 ALCS will go down as one of the greatest playoff
perfomances ever.

Vladimir Guerrero-Not as flashy as the others, I think he had 3 walk-offs last year.

Those are my top guys.

David Ortiz and Pujols are the definitions of clutch hitting.

Ken Griffey Jr. The way he naturally poses after finishing a home run swing sets up perfect for a slow trot for the win.
