why does everyone care so much? Im not for it but i dont really care what other people do in their love life. It is a little creepy though...

bc anything that causing controversy attracts attention. i think people can marry and be with whomever they want but then again you get those bible types that like to preach what it says. i just think it peopel stopped trying to focus on breeding hate and being negative towards others there would be alot more peace and harmony. just bc u dont approve of their lifestyle doesnt mean their not people that dont deserve respect.

The word 'homophobes' doesn't really cover it, because they also exist outside believers in God.
Fundamentalists is too broad to describe it.
"People who condemn homosexuals based on the Bible" is just a too long sentence for a lazy guy like me.
So far I only can think of "Scriptosexuals", but that also doesn't really please me.
Any ideas?

Hm. I don't find it so, Dearest. I have a 26 going on 27 year monogamous marriage (yes, I consider myself married) to my Best Beloved. We have a house with a yard, three cats, a garden, some debt and loving relatives. She drives OTR semi and I'm a House Otter. Nothing much out of the ordinary really and I'll bet you couldn't pick us out of mid-stream middle-class America.
The Religious right has a problem with Gays because of the non-procreation thing and that they can use the AIDS/HIV lifestyle scare to try and take the publiuc's view off of other more important matter's -- such as the War, poverty, Darfur, Oil Prices things that are FAR mor important.
Jesus said NOTHING about Homosexuals. Not one thing. Paul did but Jesus is the savior and not Paul last time I looked and everyone keeps quoting a man who didn't even want people to marry (but it's better to marry than to burn he said.)

Some of them are very annoying. It is one thing to have a certain sexual preference. That is fine as long as it involves consenting adults. But to bother everyone else with a loud and annoying attitude is unacceptable. If people see gays acting this way and assume that all gays are like this, they will begin to dislike gays. People should understand that other people act a certain way -not because of their sexual preference, but rather because of their attitude. If some guy you see is loud, obnoxious, and an annoying little sass, it is because of his attitude -not because of what he puts in his bum.

I believe that that is very true, but the problem is that gays do not keep it in the dormitory. They display, show off, and boast of what they do in the dormitory, which is nobody else's business. They should follow their own words

because of the all misconceptions that "christians" have about homosexuals being that they are perverts (not true) try to recruit others into the lifestyle (not true) and were not created by God (really not true)
