I can't think of any poems dealing with pleasant things--they're all sad goodbyes--but I warn you that most people think of Oz as the fairyland in the Wizard of Oz so you're going to get a lot of jokes. (Assuming, of course, you are applying the nickname to Austraila.)

This poem may not be appropriate, but it's such a lovely poem, and it speaks of living one's life and taking chances, that I thought it might be good for someone who is doing exactly that.

Hmmm. It could be a whimsical, Lewis Carroll-type poem about how Dorothy went to Australia. (I wonder where I got that idea from, lol...)
