I've been all around this country and even over-seas.
NYC has everything. It's a BIG city so good and bad will be there - but ohhhhhhhh the good is so VERY very good. The people are the best thing of all. Last year we spent time at Orchard Beach, Sea Isle section of the Bronx which was a part of NYC I never knew was there - we were blown away. Soo many times I've been there and every time more to explore and find. I love walking down Broadway or through Times Square at night - strolling through Central Park during the day, taking handsome cab rides from the Plaza and having lunch in Rockefeller Square. Mass at St Patricks Cathedral, cocktails at some wonderful lil Jazz bar in Brooklyn at night - sooo much to love about NYC.
(the cab rides are the best thrill ride I've ever been on! lol - kwaaaaaaaaazzzee)

My daughter. She did an internship on Long Island, visited the city and fell in love with it. Since then I treat her to a bus trip for her birthday sometime before Christmas. We have the best time just walking, shopping and I'm sure her dreaming about a time when she could live there. I think when she left LI she left a piece of her heart there.

There is no other city like NY. Anything you want can be found here. The landmarks are fantastic and the people far friendlier than most think. I have lived here for most of my life (except when I was in the Air Force) and could not be happier.

I love New York! I was born there, and I plan to buy a mansion in the Hamptons there when I am rich!

I do but I often find it to be a love-hate relationship, with the jacked up living prices, infestation by hipsters, and the constant crowd and noise.
