Hello!!!

I have the same problem!! I have spent £££'s on creams incl. my current one which cost £90 but it doesn't actually work. I have dark circles chich are also on the side of my nose. And I am also indian so the circles are really dark.

Anyways, I have tried Mac, Touch eclat, and various other concealers. But the one i find the best which i have been using for over 1 yr now is a combination of bobbi brown products.

Peach Corrector as a base
Honey Concealor over the top
Yellow transclucent loose powder over the whole eye area
Vanilla eyeshadow over the whole eye area.

You can see their products on bobbibrown.co.uk. The tones r really suited to indian skin

Hope this helps!!!

Maybe you should try solving the problem from inside? It's possible that you have an iron defficiency in your blood. It's also possible that you're not drinking enough water?

Try asking the consultants in the cosmetic stores what colour would suit your skin best. I've heard that you should buy concealer that's one shade darker than your natural skin colour. Try applying the concealer to a small test area on the side of your hand on your thumb? Try doing it in the most natural light as possble. Sometimes the lights in shops make things look different than they would when you're out & about on street.

something that wont cost alot of money and is very simple is taking some ice cubes and just rub them on and past the area of where your dark circles are right after you wake up or take a hot shower.

1. rub some ice cubes over the area you have dark circles
2. Take a dab of lotion and rub over the area of dark circles.
3. Take a concealer that is a shade or two lighter than your natural skin color and put a little bit over the dark circles and rub in to make it look nice and subtle.
4. Now take some loose powder that is just about the same skin tone as yours and slightly rub in until it looks even with your skin.

The biggest trick is to use the ice cubes!
It helps soothe the skin pores and minimizes them and will help make your eyes feel very refreshed to.

If this doesnt help just contact me and i can give you more tips on how to get rid of dark circles with out wasting a lot of money.

HOPE THIS HELPS!!! = ]

i used to have the same probably... as weird as this sounds mary kate and ashley just came out with a new line of makeup it has a liquid concelear and a stick... make sure you put on a mosturizer first so it blends easier... then apply the liquid concelear first and let it set for about a minute and then blend then apply the stick do not let it sit to long or it looks very un-natural so blend it in right away then put on your usual foundation and powder... you usually want to use a concelear that is a little bit lighter than your skin tone

I have read in a number of articles that dark circles under the eyes are linked to poor kidney function. I have dark circles. I find that drinking at least 2 litres of water per day helps.
Stila does a really good concealer. Go to the counter and ask the assistant to try a number of different colours on you until you find the best one.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

If you're concelers and creams arent' working, try to get rid of the dark circles themselves...1. try to get more sleep. 2. Drink lots of water, which is great for your skin and skin color 3. Ice a little under your eyes in the morning so they don't look puffy. When the warmth returns, your blood will be moving more, so they won't look dark and blue-ish. Also try washing your face in the morning to wake you up. 4. Try glasses or sunglasses when you're out and about to minimize the dark circles seen by those around you. 5. Try a bronzer to give yourself a little more color on your face. 6. Ask a beauty counter to give you advice on different brands or tones for your skin type

Boy do I have the Web site for you! http://www.darkcirclesgone.com gives a host of advice about dark circles. If the creams don't work (the one they suggest is really good, btw) you can try vitamin E, or essential oils. I think they suggest Iman Concealer but that's not really a great solution in my book. Also, your dark cirlces might be attributed to your diet. Make sure you eat iron-rich foods such as green veggies, beans and grains and drink your water!

i have dark circles under my eyes too sometimes; usually when i haven't slept well. Just make sure that you get as much sleep as possible and drink plenty of water. As for eye creams, try Bodyshop Vitamin E eye cream, this one really does work, I've tried it and I'm still using it. I would also recommend using L'Oreal Touche Magique Concealer. I can't recommend any shades, you just have to try them out at the shop and see which one works for you.

I looked 4 solututions on the web. Here is one:
What causes dark circles under eyes? What can you do about them?
- Stephanie / Wisconsin
Answer
Almost everyone gets dark circles under their eyes from time to time. Dark circles under eyes usually are temporary and not a medical concern.
You may be surprised to learn that fatigue usually isn't the cause of dark circles. Instead, the most common cause is nasal congestion. When your nose is congested, veins that usually drain from your eyes into your nose become widened (dilated) and darker.
Another cause of undereye circles is eyelid swelling during sleep. When you lie down, gravity can cause fluid to collect in your lower eyelids. This swelling may create the appearance of shadows below your eyes. In addition, dark circles can result from chronic skin conditions, such as atopic eczema. Dark circles can also run in families.
Over-the-counter products may help diminish dark circles under eyes. Look for skin creams that contain vitamin C or K, alpha hydroxy acid and kinetin. Treatment for chronic and severe undereye circles is directed at the underlying cause, if known, and may include bleaching agents and laser therapy.
