I know some of us veterans are awfully hard on you (and frankly several could use a good swat) but a lot of you are pretty sharp, and have a lot to add here.

So ask good questions, and think before you answer others'.

Now, my real question to you is, what have you learned here?

It's not worth it to let people get to you on here. If someone makes a nasty comment, you should just ignore it.

Well sir, I'll answer:

I've learned that good things can happen once you allow communications with others. For the longest, I had my email settings to private and didn't want to hear from anybody. Now I have my own network of really cool people. I have people I wouldn't mind hanging out with, and I might be actually writing a book with one of them!

So I've learned if you let people in, you'll get that much back in return. Just like life.

I have learned that older people can be just as sarcastic and humorous, if not more so, than people my age(19)! It really is quite funny and makes Answers more enjoyable. I have also learned that, despite the problems and cruelty we see in the world today, there are still genuinely nice and caring people out there. You, Billy Boy, are one example.

Ummm... I'm gonna go out on a limb here - so listen up EVERYONE - Billy Boy does not mean "old" people when he says veterans... he means the regulars that have been here way before you even got out of school!
